Cloud cake
Saw photo of this super soft fluffy cake on social media, extra simple recipe, I cannot resist not trying it out. Simple enough to make and light and soft as the picture, good addition to quick dessert.
2 yolks
160gm Greek yogurt or sour cream
30gm flour
honey/sugar 50gm
2 egg whites
pinch of salt
1.Mix yolk with yogurt and honey/sugar, whisk in sifted flour, blend to a thick paste.
2.Whisk egg white, to soft peak, with a pinch of salt.
3.Fold egg white into yogurt mixture, pour into lined baking tin, bake at 110˚C for 50 minutes, then 170˚C to brown for another 15 minutes. Rest in oven with door ajar for another 15 minutes before serving.
