Lamb chops on baby beetroots






After eating a lot of beetroot leaves, it is time to thin the bulbs so that there is room for the rest to grow big. A valuable addition in poly tunnel for some harvest in spring.

I peeled and cut beetroots into quarters, some cut up red bell pepper, crushed garlic, season with salt, 5 spices powder, sweet paprika and olive oil. Place in baking dish, put on top seasoned lamp chops.

Bake at 220˚C for 20 minutes, rest in oven for another 10 minutes to let beetroot cook through. Place blanched spinach on top before serving.
