Natural wool mulch

Got some sheared wool from a neighbour’s sheep farming brother, according to research, the lanolin in unwashed wool is good repellent for slug. I put a collar of wool around those plants affected by slug, all brassicas, strawberry, melon, pumpkin and eggplants. Let see if wool is the solution to slug control.
