Tour of Denmark, around Copenhagen 2/8

Rosenborg Slot - this palace castle was built in the 16 C, smaller rooms than Christiansborg but much more richly decorated in the style of that era.

Opera house guided tour - there is no performances during summer, only guided tours available, the only way to see the building. Very good explanation of how the whole building was a gift from a Danish businessman, who is personally involved, with a local architect, in the design. No money is spared, for the best result, for performance and for the comfort of visitors.

Marble church - found church with huge green dome that can be seen from far away. Well proportioned and very calming to sit inside.

Black Diamond library - an extension to the grand old library,  named black diamond for the shape and colour. Love the feeling of space inside, and the aerial view of beautiful circle bridge.

Design museum - large building with permanent exhibition of innovative Danish designs and themed exhibitions. Very interesting to see a lot of different Danish designs in the last hundred years.
Most impressive is that they openly admitted that the trend in chair design in the last 80 years originated when the school of design acquired a chair from the Ming Dynasty period. Teachers and students were fascinated by the fact that not a nail was used, the chair can be dismantled and put back together, which greatly help with delivery.
