Got up this morning to find a reasonable day ahead, still cloudy and cool, but at least bright white clouds, for a change.
Decided to get to the top of the hill behind and walk around the small lake. The slopes are covered with heather in full bloom, the most pretty carmine pink.
Among heather plants, there are always bilberry plants, with ripe berries, armed with a berry scoop, easily collected couple kgs for a pie and more for the freezer.
