How can I forget to mention the sheep on Achill Island. They are everywhere, in fields and roam free, help to keep the grass short. 

 

 

If the house's gate is not closed, you can get a free lawn and flowerbed mowing service too.

Contacted a lobster farmer on the island to meet at Bullsmouth pier to buy some local pot caught lobsters. 

 

 

The long curve beach next to it is covered will pink/red/purple/white stones of all sizes, the colour tone is mesmerising like enter kids' playground.

Lobster is great, at half of the retail price, Euro 25 for 2, one kg lobsters.

Drove up Mt Minaun 466m and walk along the ridge to the next peak with The Lady's statue, looks far away and always windy, but can reach in 30 minutes. It is not on the tourist info, but worth the effort, the 360 degree views are fantastic, a pity that it is hazy.

On a sunny day, do the famous Atlantic drive, a winding road on cliff top on the south side of the island, fantastic view.

Carry on from the last trip to visit the next section of the north west coast of Ireland, the Achill Island, connected to the mainland by a bridge.

 

Parked the camping car at a campsite next to Keel beach, a 5km long curve fine sand beach. When the sky is clear, whenever the time, great to get out to walk the beach, amazing atmosphere.
