Wild green

In spring, when weather turns sunny and warmer, it is a good excuse to go out to pick wild greens to feed our mind and stomach.

Nettle leaves, the top few leaves is most tender. Pick them wearing gloves and wash them with gloves on too to avoid being stung. I stir-fry them with more oil then normal because the texture is quite rough. It is not terribly delicious, but they are free and high in iron.

Wild garlic leaves grow along river banks here, are smaller and more tender than grown garlic, also milder in flavor and aroma.

I also simply stir-fry them to enjoy their pure taste. They tasted mildly sweet and have a nice soft texture.
