Pork chop with thyme and lemon zest

Pork chop with thyme and lemon zest

This is a good seasoning for fatty chops, fast sear or grill will bring out the flavor of herbs and meat. Goes very well with a green apple salad in lemon honey dressing.

1. Mix 2 meshed garlic cloves with zest of a lemon, a handful of fresh thyme leaves, salt and pepper, rub on pork chops, marinate for 2 hours.
2. Cook on bbq or on a medium hot pan, 2 minutes each side, then rest in the hot pan out of heat until middle cooked through, scrap off burnt herbs.
