Tomatoes in the green house is doing well, runner bean and mange tout keep producing pods, and seeds sowed in late July germinated well. Spinach is ready to harvest big leaves to make a dish, thin out purple carrots when they are big enough to worth eating, same thinning job for fennels soon. Other leave veg to look forward to is amaranth and mizuna.
