Kiwi

The first frost came in mid Oct, so I harvested all the Kiwis, otherwise they will be spoiled by the frost. They are still hard and sour to eat, but if they are kept in a cool place, they continue to mature, becoming sweeter & softer. Kiwis can keep for up to 4 to 5 months, so it is very valuable as a winter fruit.

I did not water them much during the whole summer, they are tiny, size of an small egg, but full of flavor compared with the commercially grown Kiwi, which are heavily irrigated.
