Along Denali Highway (left George Parks Highway at Cantwell), fantastic mountain and river scenery all the way, weather permitting:

Nenana river.

Brushkana Creek,

wild blueberry everywhere,

lots of Grayling there, kept two.

Wilderness everywhere you look.

Clear water creek, again lots of Grayling.

Maclaren range,

and Macalren glacier.

It is general conclusion that there are too many hunters and very few wild animals left. He bagged a caribou.

Tangle Lake at the far end.

After a few cloudy cold days, and very heavy rain the day before, it is great to see sunny, blue sky again. A short hike up the hill with full view of Tangle Lake,

immense tundra, full of berries.

Alaska range.

At east fork Gulkana river,

 Red Salmon are spawning, 

and more reached the end of their journey.
