Lamb shoulder with vegetable


To use a frying pan to cook at the same time a thick cut of lamb shoulder and vegetables, is sometimes simpler and faster than using oven.

1. Season lamb shoulder with minced garlic, salt and olive oil for an hour.
2. Cut carrot into serving size, cut top off young conical green pepper.
3. Heat frying pan with some oil, place lamb shoulder in the middle and vegetables around. At medium heat, turn meat and vegetable over until both sides slightly golden.

4. Deglace with cooking wine, add half a cup of water, season with salt and pepper, cover with lid, cook until meat is pink in the middle, around 10 minutes.
