A month ago I hiked along Shing Mun
reservoir then up to Needle Hill and Grass Hill. The view of Sha Tin and Tai
Po towns from the top is fantastic.

Yesterday, again I hiked along Shing Mun
reservoir, this time instead of going up hill, took the downhill trail to Tai
Po Au.
This path is in the middle of a forest,
made with big and small stones in the form of rough uneven steps.
It is not
easy fast walking, but it is rare to find in Hong Kong such type of trail that is
done in a natural looking way.
