| Smoke eel on rice |
Ordered from the fish delivery site smoked wild eel from Lake Neagh in North Ireland. I am dreaming of delicious Japanese grilled soy sauce eel on rice. The smoked eel is tasty on its own, oily meat with mild smoky flavor.

After marinating and grilling, it is of course not the same as the Japanese dish, but tasty in its own way, especially the rice, absorbed the flavors of both eel and sauce.
1. Cut eel into chunks, marinated with soy sauce, rice wine and brown sugar.
2. Place eel pieces on cooked rice, turbo grill at 200˚C for 10 minutes, pour the remaining sauce on eel and grill for another 5 minutes.
