Oat multi-seeds balls


Still a well liked snack in the household, instead of making them flat which is a bit of work, I now make loose round balls, easier to make, more loose texture, but takes longer to dry.


300gm oat flakes

200gm millet flakes

5gm salt

300 boiling water

handful of date cut up and soaked in hot water, for sweetness

sesame

flax seed

desiccated coconut

100gm cocomus (source of fat)

1tsp baking powder

 

1.  Mix flake with salt and water, then the rest ingredients.

2. Form loosely into 1.5 diameter balls, bake at 150˚C until dry in the middle, around 1.5 hours.
