apple pear cake |
I harvested apples and pears, pressed into
juice and use the residue to make this cake. Very easy to make and can use
grated carrot or any other excess fruit or vegetable instead.
200 gm glutinous flour (or normal flour)
150 gm brown sugar
1 tea spoon baking powder
1 table spoon cinnamon powder
4 eggs
125 gm melted butter
300 gm grated apple/pear/carrot
a handful of chopped walnut
a tea spoon chili flakes (optional)
1. Mix flour, baking powder,
cinnamon powder and brown sugar.
2. Whisk egg with a big pinch of salt, add
grated apple pear, melted butter, walnut and chili flakes. Pour into flour mixture and mix
well.
3. Bake at 160˚C until cooked through,
around an hour.
