The combination of
chili and Sichuan pepper gives a delicious unique 'ma-la' taste. This dish is a
combination of chewy 'ma-la' bonito, soft and sweet carrot and raw crunchy
juicy cucumber.

1. Tear smoked bonito
into pieces, fry in shallow oil at medium heat with chili flake and ground up Sichuan
pepper, season with brown sugar and soya sauce, until golden and dry.
2. Dry cook carrot,
cut into strips, until soft and sweetness come out, add cucumber cut into strips
and bonito, mix together and serve.
