Baked onion with turmeric



A simple dish created for vegetarian friends who would like to eat more turmeric for health reason in a delicious way.
1. Peel onion, cut top and bottom off, place in a currently very trendy single person baking cocotte (or cook a few onions at a time using bigger baking dish with lid)
2. Pour coconut milk to 2/3 height of the cocotte, add turmeric powder, season with salt and chili powder or white pepper.
3. Bake at 180˚C until onion is soft, about an hour.
