Beetroot crisp


It is now easy to buy vegetable crisp, but mostly are fried and oily. It is easy to make at home using a fruit drier, crispy result and do not need oil. For beetroot, need to cook first as dried raw beetroot has an earthy taste that is not very pleasant.

1. Wrap beetroot in foil and bake at 180˚C until just turn soft when squeezed, around 40 minutes.
2. When cool, remove skin, cut into roughly1mm slices, arrange in fruit drier to dry.
