Long baked beetroot

Adapted from a recipe of long baked sliced apples, works well with beetroot too, brings out the full flavor of beetroot.

1. Peel and slice beetroot thinly, could add some carrot for different flavor.

2. Season with soy sauce, white pepper, hazelnut paste (or any nut paste to thicken sauce), sliced garlic and olive oil, mix well.
3. Bake at 170˚C for 90 minutes until soft and sauce thick.
