Barbecue lamb with cumin |
I first learned the flavor of cumin from
visiting Si An (西安) many years ago, where they serve as street food, charcoal
grilled sticks of lamb with a lot of cumin seeds. The flavor is incredibly
powerful and unique, one of those unforgettable experiences.
Season strips of lamb
meat with soy sauce, pepper, brown sugar, cumin seeds, oil and liqueur for half
an hour, grill on barbecue.
