Collected bilberry at a popular hiking trail in the mountain, the plants appear at the level with heather, dark blue berries among bright pink flowers. Bilberry is smaller than it cultivated relative blueberry, but with deep purplish blue juice and stronger flavor, a bit sour too, great simply with yogurt and honey.

To make the cake, use any cake recipe, I used eggs and so no need to add butter, sticky rice flour gives a whiter cake and a different flavor than wheat flour, and gluten free. 

4 eggs
100gm almond powder
100gm sticky rice flour
50 gm sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup of bilberries

1. Mix cake ingredients to get a thick pourable paste, pour into an oiled baking dish.

2. Add bilberries lightly on the surface, evenly, they will sink a little. Bake at 180˚C until cooked, around 40 minutes.
