Family dinner prepared by home cook, so full of flavour and texture, a memorable evening.
4 cold dishes: Stir-fry burdock, cured pork in aspic (so pretty), beef tendon (nicely crunchy), curry squid (rich cook from scratch curry sauce)
Long boiled soup
7 hot dishes : braised sturgeon and mushroom in clay pot (tender and finished in no time), beef brisket in tomato sauce, long slow cooked Daikon (melt in the mouth, simple and yet super tasty), steam egg custard with clam juice (umami, wonder combination), seared green pepper, stir-fried razor clam, pea sprout with crab meat.
Followed by Ningbo black sesame glutinous dumplings and Haagendaz ice creams, we are so well fed, so full, and so happy.
