Invited there for dinner with friends, last visit was many years ago when it first opened, remembered that food was good but don’t know why I never been back.
Mixture of good dishes from various Chinese cuisines, skilfully executed, and good quality of ingredients.
Most memorable are Sichuan thin beef slices, stir-fried wild nest fern, beautifully done and tasty dim sums, flavourful claypot fish flavour eggplant, super tender green bean with minced pork.
Peking duck is up to the standard, dessert of Black sesame and white chocolate with a sour jelly filling is memorable too.
The only problem for me is the dim lighting, very unsettling and mildly uncomfortable.
