Giant sourdough hot cross bun

 



 

 Last minute decision to make hot cross bun, for breakfast, hence go for a big loaf instead of individual small buns. 

Using sourdough starter to prepare the dough, using coconut milk instead of water, added raisin, goji berry and spices like cinnamon and Garam masala. Bake as normal, 10 minutes before finish, pipe a cross like decoration using a mixture of butter, flour and sugar.
