Sourdough soda biscuit




Thought of another use of sourdough discard, to make crispy biscuits. Super easy to make and able to keep, and I love crispy snacks.

Mix sourdough discard with 2 tbsp olive oil, flour, baking powder and salt to make a dough, I added turmeric powder as spice too. Roll flat in between 2 silicone sheets, or baking paper. Use pastry roller to cut into size, use fork to poke holes.

Rest in the oven for 2 hours to rise, bake at 200˚C for 10 minutes, lower to 100˚C for an hour to dry.
