I used to buy a lot of French marigold plug plants from nursery to plant around my vegetable beds. For two reasons, first is the vibrant yellow/orange flowers that brighten any dull days, and more important, it has a fragrant that slugs love to its leaves first.
This year, I bought a pack of seeds and try my hand on sowing, amazingly easy, nearly 100 precent success, I shall never buy them again!
