Tour of southern Spain 2/7 Malaga

There are a lot of churches in Malaga, all worth a look and walk around. The most famous is Malaga cathedral, that needs to book ticket ahead is grand, but not mesmerising. The outside facade, tower and garden are far more photogenic than inside.

Centro Cultural museum opposite the cathedral is a well preserved building. It is worth paying the ticket to see whatever exhibition in order to walk around an elegant building. The courtyard with fountain, orange trees and tiled wall is very peaceful.

Went for a flamenco show at Teatro Flamenco Málaga Club, a small theatre in the old town, good location with 3 shows everyday. Excellent acoustic and performance by the guitar player, 2 singers and 2 of the 3 dancers. Next time I will pay the higher price to sit at front rows to be able to see the movement of their feet.

There are a few eye catching street arts around, worth seeking out in between meals and visits.
