Golfe du Morbihan is an oyster cultivation area, fed by clean rivers with lots of micro-nutrients. Strong tidal wave refreshes the water in the bay.

Purchase:
Oyster round flat de Belon- traditional species, euro 10 for a dozen,


Oyster long creuse (deep shelled)-introduced from japan, euro 6 for a dozen.


The flat one is small, has a creamier, delicate flavor, where as the creuse one is bigger, more juicy, has stronger marine taste.
