Saw a small fishing
boat returning to Arnarstapi to unload the catch. There were boxes of cod,
haddock and other local fishes.

Talked to the fisherman to try to buy a fresh cod,
which is not available at the supermarket. The fisherman refused to sell, but
happy to give one for free, for us to enjoy the good taste of Icelandic fish.

The flesh of cod is
very white, with mild taste, but fell apart after being pan fried, must be a
lean fish.
