Brown crab is not my favorite crab, with big shells but small body and legs and relatively tough flesh. But female ones full of crab fat is a different story, if cooked just enough for crab fat to set to jelly like and not over, it is delicious.
For this 1/2kg size crab, I baked at 200˚C for 15 minutes, rest in oven for another 5 minutes.
