Still within the first year of veg gardening in Ireland, every day is a new experience. So amazed that veg grow so well here, the green house provides a good environment without much disease and pest. The outside beds with net protection is good to grow other cool weather tolerant plants like brassicas, pumpkin, pea, lettuce, carrot, parsnip, turnip etc.
The black and white old variety of sweet corn I bought in the market in Taiwan a few years ago has immigrated with me here. It has got used to the climate inside the greenhouse and produced corns. As usual I kept one behind as seeds to propagate.
