I now have a blcok of this biscuit dough in the freezer, ready to be cut up and bake any time when visitor comes. Easy to make and without fail, easy to please.

100gm flour
100gm butter
100gm finely grated hard cheese (mature Cheddar, Parmisan, Gouda, Comte etc
optional : sesame, poppy seed, caraway
Mix ingredients together to form a dough, shape into a round or square shaped log. Fridge to firm before cutting, or freeze wrapped up until needed.
Cut into 2mm thin slices, space out on baking tray, bake at 180˚C until lightly golden, around 10 minutes.
