Selected the best of seasonal seafood available in Ireland, the on-line fishmonger did a great job. My family is very impressed with the quality and price of produce here.
surf clam with Chinese lettuce
Surf clams, which I orderedd a few times before and found them thin and not very tasty. This time they are exceptionally plum and sweet, the same as what I have eaten in Spain and Thailand, may be the hot weather make them gain weight?
Tasted 3 oysters, from the west coast Dooncastle, from the north west coast Lissadell, and from the north east coast Carlingford Louet Feisset. All are tasty, with the one from Carlingford the sweetest and good firm texture.
