Oyster tasting
Finally found
a few neighbors who dare to eat oysters (seems to me such people are
quite rare in Ireland), hosted an oyster tasting evening.
Prepared a
few home made snacks to start with: cheese crisps, baked miso mushrooms,
carrot sticks, fermented olives, black garlic, fried tofu, honey
fermented garlic and sourdough bread.
Ordered oysters @gannetfish from the west coast, the north west coast and the north east coast to compare the flavour and texture.
Everyone
found all 3 types of oyster delicious, but chose the same one as their
favourite, being sweetest and very good texture - The Galway Bay Premium
Oyster!
