Joined a Finnish lady living in Limerick to cook a batch of food for a women and children shelter. A charity work organised by a local church and the Finnish lady volunteered to provide the meal once a month.
The menu is Swedish meatball with mash potato and apple cake. 3 of us worked 3 hours in the kitchen, peeling, cutting, shaping and cooking to get it ready. My first time to stir such a big pot of potato mash, with massive amount of butter to moisten, just how the Irish like it.
