Doolin walk and cave visit

Doolin is at the west coast where the area is famous for bare limestones geology, eroded to form long and deep cracks.

The walk along the shore is always beautiful, even on a drippy day. Powerful waves crashing onto the layered cliff, forming holes and arches.

In the area is Doolin cave with the largest stalactite in Europe, in a huge 6 floors down chamber. Unusual is that it is the only one single stalactite in that chamber, forming lace like pattern as water flow down over millennia.
