Dominated by the castle where William de conqueror was born, it is now a very well set up interactive museum presenting the history of that era. The town centre was badly bombed during WWII and is being rebuilt in similar style.
Walked along the river at Roche d’Oetre, rolling hills and natural mix forest.
A short distance away is Sees, with a number of eyecatching old monuments.
