Traveling along the coast to the west, first passes by Downpatrick Head. A massive landscape with powerful current, eroding the sedimentary rock cliffs forming holes and shapes. A huge blow hole, isolated mass of rock near the edge and a beautiful coast line, with cliff all the way. A good hour of walking around on soft bright green mossy fields.
Further down is Ceide Fields Center, where under the boggy surface is a series of stone walled farm land, for wild cows, existed 6000 years ago. The only example of early farmland in the world. It was accidentally discovered when cutting away peat for fuel, a local found rows of stones that looks like well arranged.
Another good hours walking around the area, admiring the exposed rows of white stones all over the area, with fantastic sea view.
