In Croatia, the squid season has started, every night there are small fishing boats, with bright lights on, fishing for squid along the coast. Then the next morning, you can buy these super fresh squid in the market.
Season squid with salt, chili pepper and oil, grill at high temperature for 10 minutes.

ReplyDeleteThe coast line of Croatia along Adriatic sea is very beautiful, untouched by modern developments, the best is the town Rovinj. There are not a lot of 'tourist sites/monuments' to visit, it is for a trip with a lot of time to just soak in and enjoy the atmosphere. Also the seafood is fresh in the market, but not so sure in tourist restaurants, and cooking is basic - grill to death! So the best is to rent holiday apartment with kitchen.
