Alaska campervan holiday - Part 1

Along George Parks Highway:

At Montana Creek, salmon are swimming up stream,
a few Chum Salmon gather in a pool waiting for the moment to spawn.

At Peters Creek, no sighting of salmon at all, only some small Grayling, caught and released.

At Gate Lake, beautiful tundra landscape,

and collected a lot of wild blueberry, the plants like a boggy and acid habitat.

Kayaking at Byers Lake,

clear view of Mt. Mckinley,

at the lake inlet, it is packed with Red Salmon (Sockeye Salmon) waiting to spawn.

At Byers Creek, never seen so many fish (mainly Pink, some Red and Chum salmon) in the water, like looking in a fish pond. Landed a female Pink salmon.

At Honolulu Creek, no salmon but there are Rainbow Trout.

Broad Pass, beautiful landscape.

Otto Lake, autumn colour appeared, the ground is covered in red fruits: rose hips, red currants, cranberries etc.

Denali National Park, grasping a sense of wilderness,

caribou,

brown Grizzly bear, just caught a hare,

female Mooses, drinking and eating berries in the field
