There are a lot of varieties of potatoes, according to record, over 3000 different types.
A lot of beans and corns, this black one (morada) is my favorite.
A lot of fruits, from amazon basin to the highland.
Shark is a commonly eaten fish.
Peruvian likes crispy skin deep fried pork (chiceron) too.
Local specialty in Cusco is a big round sweet bread.
