Homemade soaps

Followed a book in making soap using cold method. It is very simple and easy to do at home without the need of special equipments, but do need to follow instruction carefully.

It is basically a reaction between acid (fat) and base (caustic soda), 2 ingredients are enough to make soap, compare with the long list of chemicals in a commercial soap.

I made 2 batches, one with only olive oil and caustic soda. The other is a mixture of olive oil, shea butter, sesame oil and caustic soda, very good for the skin.
