Thought of keeping hens this
summer for having lots of super fresh eggs. Went to an organic egg farm to
bring these 4 girls back, they are retired from work at the farm, being 18
months old.

Reason are older hens lay less eggs, and government policy is that
no chicken could stay in a farm for longer than 18 months to avoid developing
disease.

This is a local old breed, very tame, could live and carry on laying
egg until 5 years old. Got them cheap for 3 Euro each.
