and was in private ownership for over 150 years.

There is one of the oldest olive tree in
Croatia over 2000yrs, large scale Roman ruins, olive oil mills, a few bread
ovens, many lime kilns, a number of dinosaur foot prints along the coast.

One of the previous owner, President Tito,
used it as a safari park, where zebras, ostriches, peacocks and elephants are
residents now.
