| Wood pigeons |
This is the time when wood pigeons fly pass
our area to head south to Spain for the winter. It is also the time when some
mountain restaurants serve roasted wood pigeon. Yes, hunters are around to shoot
them from specially built Palombiere, tall building in the forest for hunters to hide while waiting for
the flock of wood pigeons to come pass.
This flock of wood pigeons are survivors, so
