Meadow flowers and grasses

Ragwort

Ragwort

I have been spending time in the field pulling out Ragwort, which is poisonous to animals. As there are a lot of animal farms in Ireland, it is a requirement for landowners to remove Ragwort before they seed, to reduce the spreading.
It is actually a beautiful yellow flower, and when I started to look closely with the help of magnifying  lens, all the little meadow flowers and grasses turn out to be very complex and colourful, a feast for the eyes.
