ready to harvest shiitake
The shiitake substrate comes with a few small mushrooms, after a week when the gills formed they are ready to harvest, got 700gm. Should have a few more rounds of harvest, will see.
Seared in lard, season with salt and fresh herb, lovely thick texture and mild aroma.
