Brussel sprout is fast becoming my favorite winter harvest vegetables. It takes a long time to grow (planted small plants in end May) and needs a lot of space (being a big plant), the reward is wonderful.
I can harvest the sprouts growing on the stem as they gradually grow big, meaning a long harvest season. On top, the leaves at the tip are tender, so nice to have dark green leaves to eat in this season.
