Traveling in camper, with fridge and stove, is wonderful as I could prepare what is good to eat, instead of having to eat all 3 meals in restaurants.
Especially great in Covid era, feel safe to stay and eat in our own little mobile home.

In summer we will do bbq outside with meat brought from butcher. In winter, I bring cooked and frozen meat stew, or buy simple cuts from butcher that can be cooked quickly. All vegetables are from the garden, washed and cut when possible, to minimise work. Also bring along a jar of homemade mix herb pesto, to add to dishes for a touch of fresh green and extra flavor.
The less satisfying meal is breakfast, as homemade bread goes stale fast and need to be toasted to refresh. It is hard to toast bread in the pan and eating cardboard like bread is not pleasant.

Finally solved the problem, by bringing a once risen sourdough bread dough in sealed box in the fridge. Every night, take a portion out to warm up, then cook like flat bread in a non stick pan with some oil, lovely hot soft moist bread, wonderful.
